Experts say this could be the [start of a winter surge](. Judge Bruce Schroeder, who is presiding over Kyle Rittenhouse's murder trial, has been under intense scrutiny. Critics say he's been too hard on prosecutors during the trial, and he has "[stuck his foot in his mouth several times]( with some jokes and comments. Still, he has a reputation of being no-nonsense yet approachable. As Rittenhouse's trial comes to a close, jury selection for another high profile case begins. Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of of [luring minors Jefferey Epstein's orbit]( from the 1990s into the early 2000s, grooming them for sexual abuse and sometimes participating in sexual encounters herself. Suicide is the second-leading cause of death for U.S. teenagers and young adults.
