Military forces arrested the acting prime minister and other top officials. Sudan has [struggled with democracy]( since former dictator Omar al-Bashir was toppled by massive protests two years ago. ➡️ If the coup sets in, it could end of one of the [most remarkable pro-democracy movements]( in Africa in recent years. When climate change becomes more dramatic, what might our nation’s capital look like? According to [a new study model]( ➡️ The Lincoln Memorial could be surrounded by water. ➡️ The city’s baseball stadium could be flooded by the nearby river. ➡️ The Pentagon may be accessible only by boat. Halyna Hutchins' accidental shooting was not the first gun death on a film or TV set, but it has [resurfaced concerns over safe firearm use]( in the industry. Some showrunners have already pledged to remove real guns from sets altogether. ➡️ Hutchins is being remembered as a team player and [a rising sta]( in the cinematography industry. The FDA says Pfizer’s COVID vaccine appears to be safe and effective in younger children, aged 5 to 11. If it's authorized for emergency use, vaccinations could begin early next month, with some youngsters f[ully protected by Christmas](. Even as young kids await vaccination eligibility, some people are opting to quit their jobs rather than take the shot. While they represent only a tiny fraction of most workplaces — not even 1% in some — [it can add up to thousands of people]( in many states.
