Animals aren’t required in Tiny Desk Contest entries, but we really appreciate them. So our latest mash-up is a tribute to those animals (cats and goats and fish and sheep and more!) who doubled as bandmates in your entry videos. It’s soundtracked by the band 9lb Hammer and its members’ very good dog. Our judges have been loving your entries and are excited to kick off [Tiny Desk Contest Top Shelf]( our weekly livestream series where they’ll share their favorite entries, next week. In the first episode, [Bob Boilen]( will talk with Tiny Desk producer [Bobby Carter](.
