Trump's defense lawyers offered an at-times-rambling argument that the former president's comments about the election are protected under the First Amendment. On Tuesday, local lawmakers in the town of Palm Beach, Fla., gathered to consider whether former President Trump can legally live at his sprawling private club, Mar-a-Lago. An agreement he signed nearly 30 years ago prevents club members from living there full time. The Council has [postponed all actions related to the matter]( until April. Police in a Minneapolis suburb arrested one man in connection with the shooting at a medical clinic on Tuesday that left one person dead and four others wounded.
