Here's what we're following today.
China has sealed off the city of Wuhan as it tries to stop the spread of a deadly coronavirus that has left at least 17 people dead. Public health authorities say [they are in a "state of war" to contain the disease]( which has spread to virtually all other Chinese provinces as well as Hong Kong, none of which have been quarantined.
House impeachment managers will resume Thursday their prosecution of President Trump in the Senate, and are [expected to outline how the law applies]( to what they see as the president's "corrupt scheme" with Ukraine to tilt the 2020 election in his favor.
On the 75th anniversary of the Soviet army’s liberation of Auschwitz, survivor [Vladimir Munk will visit the camp for the first time]( since he was a prisoner there. His parents were killed in Auschwitz, as were most of his family members. "So, for me, it's like going to the family cemetery," Munk says.
A report by United Nations human rights experts says a WhatsApp account held by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was used to hack Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ cellphone. The allegations raise the possibility that Bezos, who owns The Washington Post, was [targeted by the Saudis]( months before the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Three firefighters helping fight Australia's bushfires were killed Thursday when their air tanker crashed south of the capital, Canberra. [All three aboard the airplane were U.S. residents](. Since September, 32 people have been killed as a result of the bushfires, including more than a dozen firefighters.
The rising number of emotional support pets allowed on planes has become a hot-button issue. Now [the federal government says it may tighten the rules]( for taking animals on planes after rising customer complaints and lobbying from the airlines.
