Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch is testifying publicly in the second day of open hearings in the impeachment inquiry. Yovanovitch warned Congress that the precedent set by her recall from Ukraine this year weakens Washington's ability to work with nations around the world. Veteran Republican political operative Roger Stone was found guilty by a federal jury in Washington, D.C. on Friday in his false statements and obstruction trial. The longtime confidant of Donald Trump p[leaded not guilty]( and said he'd done nothing wrong. The NFL has suspended Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett "indefinitely” for hitting Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph with his own helmet during a brawl in the final seconds of a game Thursday night. Garrett’s punishment is [one of the stiffest penalties]( for on-field behavior the NFL has ever levied. President Trump is asking the Supreme Court to block New York prosecutors' subpoenas for his tax records, [setting the stage for a legal showdown]( over the separation of powers and his personal finances.
