Maybe you were trying to keep cool when they misbehaved but you just lost your temper. Maybe it seemed like they were pushing all your buttons. I'm definitely guilty. Like that time my 5-year-old threw a toy and hit me in the back of the head while I was driving. Yes, I yelled at her. And maybe you wish you had another way to respond.
