[Tiny Desk Contest]( Tomorrow we’ll announce the winner of the 2018 Tiny Desk Contest on NPR’s Morning Edition. But first, there are a few well-deserved shout-outs we need to give. First: Congratulations to last week's fan-favorite Pup of the Tiny Desk Contest, [Juice]( She and her human, Crys Matthews, captured your hearts as Matthews' shuffling acoustic tune put into words the life-changing experience that is loving a dog. You can still check out all of the good doggos who were nominated on the [All Songs Considered]( blog. As an added bonus, we would like to present you with this super cute [supercut video]( of some of the dogs — and cats, and other critters — we saw in this year's Tiny Desk Contest entries. And with that, our weekly fan favorite votes have officially come to an end. Thanks to all of you for your support of this incredibly creative community, and for indulging us with a little friendly competition! In addition to our animal friends video, we hope you’ll watch our other two videos, featuring all the amazing [Desks In The Wild]( and [Desks Of The Tiny Desk Contest]( we saw along the way; a mere glimpse of the many inventive and captivating videos we were lucky enough to receive. We're so grateful for the music and stories this Contest allows us to discover -- you can see for yourself and [browse all the entries]( on our Contest website. Below are some artists and bands we highlighted on the [All Songs Considered]( blog last week: - [The Variants]( dark punk rock sound and expressive high-energy moments - [The Asia Project]( spoken word dedicated to all the students and families affected by to gun violence - [Mato Wayuhi & Treehorse]( critique of the American dream and promise to never assimilate - [Samira Gibson]( declaration of worth, self-empowerment and accountability - [TATYANA ft. Matilda Gratte]( innovative '90s R&B influence with crisp electronic production When we started the Contest in 2014, we did it because we love discovering new artists. Through those efforts we met our three incredible winners: [Fantastic Negrito]( [Gaelynn Lea]( and [Tank and the Bangas](. Their entries excited us, haunted us and changed the way we listen to music, and we can’t wait for this year’s winner to join their ranks. Tune in to Morning Edition tomorrow for our winner announcement and then All Things Considered for an interview with the winner.
