I led a pretty intense training for NBB members today, {NAME}. It was all about marketing to estate planning attorneys. Yadda, yadda, right? Marketing like that, the kind that gets six-figure results, is harder than social media leads you to believe. In fact, nearly everything about entrepreneurship is harder than it looks "on TV." It's still worth it, don't get me wrong. But if you're not careful, it's easy to get zapped of your energy or become disullusioned. To counteract that, you have to remind yourself WHY you're working so hard, and how badass you really are for staying the course. I've loved mantras for this. A few of my favorites: "I choose greatness." "A little less talk, a little more action, baby." (Thanks Elvis) "Every day, someone in this city needs my services. My job today is to find that person." These gentle reminders have helped me re-center and get back on track when life or business kicks me square in the b--er, the belief, yeah, square in the belief, that's it. I used post-it notes around the house or in my car to help these mantras stay top of mind. But now, my friend Nancy created Magnetic Mantras so you can stick your favorite motivations anywhere you want and still look stylish. I just ordered a stack of them and I'm impressed. She has several different themes to choose from. I have them all and share them with friends and family and clients. They're a great conversation starter! I spoke to Nancy about her Magentic Mantras and you can watch the interview at the link below. [Watch Nancy discuss her journey and Magentic Mantras here]( One of the great human tragedies is that we forget our greatness, or lose focus, or lose momentum on our dreams. It's not easy. Life does kick you square in the belief sometimes. Do everything you can to remind yourself of your greatness. Maybe these Magnetic Mantras will help. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
