Northstar Announces Sale of Office Building in Colorado Springs, CO to Local Charter School
[(
One aspect that is important to Northstar, is investing in projects that benefit the community. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investing is becoming a more popular way for individuals, companies, and foundations to pursue potential investments, while doing a net positive benefit for the community. Northstar has previously partnered with a number of charter schools as tenants, and we recently sold our 7899 Lexington building in Colorado Springs, CO to New Summit Charter Academy. This is a perfect example of ESG Investing, where Northstar was able to take a vacant asset, and turn it into a social good for the community. Building: Lessons Learned in Real Estate & Life
[(
Northstar's Founder and CEO, Brian Watson recently completed his second book, Building: Lessons Learned in Real Estate & Life. Any builder you encounter will tell you the same thing: the depth and strength of your foundation are what determine the potential of your structure. The size, the height, the granduer - every bit of it depends on a sturdy footing. And as Brian Watson explains in Building: Lessons Learned in Real Estate & Life, that doesn't solely apply to architecture or real estate. The same principles are just as applicable to your own personal and business life. 100% of the net proceeds are donated to charitable causes.
