= {NAME}, Hello from NYC! After 12 days in Japan, I'm back home. I love traveling, but after going non-stop since Christmas, I'm finally looking forward to being home for the next few months. As you know, [last year I got TB]( and, now with my treatment finally over, I'm keen to be in one place and focus on my health. Japan was a blast though. It was my seventh visit and Japan continues to impress me. I showed some friends around Tokyo and went skiing in the town of Hakuba, which is outside Nagano. I have a lot of videos, tips, and updates coming soon. One thing that continues to impress me about Japan is the politeness and respectful nature of the Japanese people. I think there's just a basic politeness to Japanese society that I wish we had here in the United States. But more on Japan later. I know you are all eager to find out who won the free trip to Iceland. (Last month, we announced [we would send one email subscriber and their friend to Iceland for free](!) Sign-ups ended on Friday.
