{NAME}, Hello from NYC! As the year winds down, this week's newsletter is the last one of the year. The team heads on their break this week and, next week, I'm off to Thailand for three weeks. ([Follow on IG for updates](=)!) I'm happy this year is over. It was a mixed back. While I still need to work on my diet, I feel like I’m going into the new year with a better handle on my health and am finally getting into shape. I also moved to NYC and couldn't be happier about it. I have no regrets about leaving Austin. But I got TB and that sucked a lot. I spent most of the summer quarantined/sick. Thankfully, I only have a few weeks left in my treatment. I also got a million colds this year (I think that might be related) so I never had the energy to do stuff. Business-wise, we trimmed things down a bit. No more community events, tours, or journals. In the new year, I want to focus on writing and being more creative again. As another year closes, I once again thank you for reading the website and trusting me (and the team) with your travel planning. It's a job we take very seriously and we spend a lot of time making sure our guides are accurate, detailed, and helpful. In the new year, we have a lot of great plans to expand our content and resources. If you haven't already, [I'd greatly appreciate it if you filled out this short survey.](=) The survey is anonymous and gives you a chance to give us feedback and let us know how we can best help you in 2024! Thank you for another year around the sun.
