{NAME}, Greetings from NYC! After a whirlwind week in Los Angeles catching up with friends, sightseeing, and seeing Taylor Swift ([front row!!](=)), I'm back in the city for a hot second. On Thursday, I'm flying to France for five days. My friends are heading back to the Côte d'Azur (French Riviera) for a birthday party and, since I had to cut my visit short last time because I was sick, I decided to join them as a "do-over." I'm very much looking forward to some time on the beach, French food, sun, and whatever else comes my way. I've got to cram an entire summer into August and I'm hitting the ground running this week. I have my first session with my trainer today, I finally bought new clothes for the first time since the pandemic, I'm seeing a show tomorrow, and I signed up for pickleball next week! Ain't no time like the present, right? That is really all that's going on. I'm just catching up on everything I couldn't do while in quarantine and finishing settling into NYC. After that, it's back to traveling! I'm getting FOMO watching everyone in far-flung places and want to work in smaller trips into my life. That "stay at home/travel" balance is something I've always struggled with but maybe being in a city with more flight connections might help? I guess we'll see! NEW COMMUNITY UPDATES 1.
