{NAME}, Happy December! I hope you are enjoying the end of the year. I haven't been reading as much as usual these past few months. That's why I haven't been sending out these monthly emails. But I did read some books and, instead of a final few book suggestions for December, I wanted to share a list of the best books I read in 2022! [Just click here to check out my top reads for 2022!]( I'll be back in 2023 with more regular suggestions. I'm not traveling as much right now so I have more time read more stuff! I'm hoping to finish three books over the holiday break! OUR NEXT BOOK CLUB PICK IS... Author Karen Gershowitz considers herself an ordinary person who has learned courage and risk-taking due to the experiences that travel brings. Travel Mania is a vivid story of how one woman found her strength, power, and passion through travel experiences. Each story can be read and enjoyed independently. It will no doubt tickle the travel bug and encourage readers to set off on their own adventures. [Click here to join our live Q&A with Karen on January 31st!]( **** If you’re looking for even more suggested books, be sure to [check out all my favorites on Bookshop](. It's not as cheap as Amazon but the site helps small, independent books. (But, if you only use Kindle or live elsewhere, [here's the Amazon link]( Best, Nomadic Matt P.S. - While I appreciate everyone sending me their books, I have a long, long, long reading list and I can't accept any books to review or feature here. I appreciate you offering but, if the universe wills it, I will find your book and read it and put it here. Thanks. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
