{NAME}, Hello from Oaxaca! I’m back again leading another group tour. The week is off to an incredible start with sunny weather, perfect temperatures, and a mezcal tasting by a Mezcalero friend of mine. This is one of my favorite itineraries that we run. I've developed a personal connection to Oaxaca over the years and I really love showing folks around. (If you want to come with us, [we’re running four trips here next year]( It’s fun bringing community members to my friend’s restaurants and bars and introducing them to my favorite day tour operators and experts. Our tours really focus on getting to know people and places, not just seeing beautiful sights. I’m looking forward to doing more in 2023! After Oaxaca, it’s off to LA to film a bunch of videos for [our new travel journal]( before heading back to Austin for the remainder of the year to rest. I plan on enjoying my new apartment, getting Lasik and allergy shots, focusing on the gym, and finally writing my next book. There’s a bunch of other stuff I want to talk about but we’ll save that for next week. Right now, fifteen people are waiting for me to see some ancient ruins and eat street food!
