{NAME}, Greetings from NYC! I'm back in the States after 6 weeks in Europe. I'm here for 10 days before heading to Austin and then to Oaxaca for our next group trip! (If you're in NYC tonight, [we're hosting a meet-up at 7pm]( +1's are welcome.) As much as I love exploring the world, I love the routine home brings. (I know I say that after every big trip.) I think all the nomads I know feel the same way. Travel allows you to see home with new eyes and appreciate the little things more: the joy of sitting on a couch with a good book, that feeling of walking into a space that is yours, friends who know you, shopkeepers who know your order, the feeling of the familiar. Sure, home is different every time you return because you're different every time you come back. Travel changes you...but it also allows you to notice the little things you might not have noticed before when you were a different you. For me, coming home always reinvigorates me about cooking, health, and fitness. It reminds me to make home an extension of my travels. Coming home doesn't have to be the end of a trip but a place where you extend that travel mindset of finding new things to do and people to meet and adventures to go on. Home does not have to be boring. The more we remember that, the more adventure we can find in everyday living. UPCOMING FREE EVENTS We have lots of virtual events coming up.
