{NAME}, Happy New Year! The Earth made it another year around the sun and we made it through the holidays with our families! When I last wrote, I was on my way to Brazil. Well, I never made it. I tested positive for COVID right before my departure (yes, I got COVID for a second time) so wasn't able to go. Instead, I spent the holidays catching up on work, watching Marvel shows, playing a lot of chess, and mapping out my goals for 2022. This weekend, I'm heading to Los Angeles to visit some friends and update our Los Angeles travel guide. Then I'm going back to Austin. And then...I'm not sure. I might road trip around Texas and visit some state and national parks or drive to the Florida panhandle and check out the beaches there (I've never been). It’s hard to say — but that’s a future Matt problem. Today Matt is excited to be back and get started on all the wonderful improvements we’re bringing to you in 2022! It’s going to be a good year!
