{NAME}, Greetings from Merida, Mexico and happy Monday! The past few days my friend and I have been on a little road trip around the Yucatan. We visited a bunch of ruins, went to some cenotes, ate street tacos, and went for a few long walks. It's made me fall in love with Mexico. ([I'm posting about it on Instagram so check out there for stories!]( It's also been incredible to see how this part of Mexico is dealing with COVID. Everyone, even those in small villages, wears a mask. There's hand sanitizer everywhere, huge signs reminding people to social distance, and restrictions on crowds. It's a massive contrast to Tulum, where COVID is rampant, and to the United States, where COVID is out of control. It's the safest I've felt since Taiwan and these measures are probably why this part of Mexico averages only about 10 new cases a day. I have a lot more to say about this part of Mexico and will be writing a blog post soon. I'm sending this email today because it's the last day of our Black Friday sale.
