{NAME}, Good morning from Austin! This week, I'm heading to Mexico. It will be my first international trip since COVID. I'm nervous and excited all at once. It feels surreal to be heading back on the road again. My upcoming trip has made me think a lot about the ethics of traveling during COVID. Even having the ability to travel right now is a serious luxury that I am very grateful for. But should you go somewhere in the middle of a pandemic? On the one hand, there are destinations that are handling COVID really well and have very few cases. Plus, those who work in tourism and hospitality really need the support so they don't go bankrupt. Yet, on the other hand, it feels weird to be traveling during a pandemic when so many people are suffering. However, I do think there's a way to travel safely during all of this and [that's the subject of today's blog post](. In it, I discuss the ethics of traveling and provide advice on how to do so in a safe manner — for you and the community you are visiting. Take a read and leave a comment letting me know your thoughts.  Also, I did an Instagram live last week where I talked about my move to Mexico and the future of travel. [You can watch it here](.
