Hi {NAME}, Greetings from Austin! I've been back here for a few weeks now, settling into my new apartment and getting to know my neighborhood. I really love Austin. I wake up every day and think to myself "this is home." This city just fits. And I'm enjoying being still. My time home has allowed me to catch up on two new exciting projects (see below) and start writing again. I really missed the act of writing. I was so busy over the last few months that I didn't get a chance to write. I have a lot I want to write about! And, starting next week, I have a wave of articles coming out. For now, scroll below to see two big announcements and a list of newly updated blog posts. Announcing TravelCon 2020! = This week, we announced our first round of speakers as well as changes we're making to next year's TravelCon. It's going to be in New Orleans from May 8th-10th, 2020. We're making a lot of changes this year — we have a destination partner, are going to start doing FAM trips, adding a second lunch, doing a scavenger hunt, hosting longer workshops, and a lot more stuff! Some of our initial speakers are Alex Baackes, Nadine Sykora, Kristin Sarah, Lola Akinmade, Mickela Mallozzi, Erick Prince, Laurence Norah, Don George, Ciara Johnson, Monet Hambrick, Seth Kugel (former NYT Frugal Traveler), and Amanda Williams. And I'm over the moon to also say that one of our headline keynotes is none other than Pico Iyer!!!! (So cool, right?) [Just click here to read our official announcement for all the details!](=) We’re capping our ticket sales at 800 again and expect to sell out again! So get your ticket before they are gone. (Don't worry! We have a refund policy in case you change your mind.) Our Brand New Travel Courses! Today, we made some HUGE changes to our travel media school. Instead of having four “let’s cover it all” courses on blogging, writing, photography, and vlogging, we’re now splitting them up into more in-depth single-topic courses. We had so much information in our survey courses that it was hard for people to find the information they wanted and needed. It’s like in university. Classes don’t cover the entirety of science. They cover individual aspects of science. So rather than address a lot of topics briefly, we now offer close to twenty media courses that go in-depth and answer more of your advanced questions on particular subjects. Best of all? We've cut the prices on all our courses. They now range from $9.99-49.99. When you’re a new travel blogger, you don’t have a lot of money to spend so we wanted to create affordable and in-depth courses so people could start their career in travel without the anxiety that comes with spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on something new. And, as an email subscriber, we're offering you a special 10% off with the code 10off. Just use it at checkout. [Click here if you're ready to check out our awesome new courses and learn how you can get started working online!]( Updates from the Blog We recently updated some old blog posts to refresh their content and correct some dated information.
