{NAME}, Hello from Austria! I originally came here for a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna, but that got canceled. So now I'm exploring the country for a few days before I head off to meet friends in the UK for some hiking adventures, London exploration, Harry Potter stuff, and maybe a Taylor Swift show. Here's what's new this week in the world of points and miles (there's not much but a few things I want to share): First, the biggest hotel brand in the world just increased its welcome offer on several cards. My favorite is its midrange card, which currently offers 155,000 points if you spend $5,000 in purchases in the first 6 months that you hold the card (terms apply). The card also offers nice earning rates, like 4x points at U.S. supermarkets and restaurants worldwide (on up to $15,000 in combined purchases at restaurants and supermarkets, then 2X points). [You can read more about the card and its benefits here](=) (it's the first card listed). If you're looking for the premium version of this card instead, [it's the first hotel card in this post](=). Second, my favorite business card still has its highest welcome offer ever. You can currently earn over 100,000 bonus points after meeting the required spend. This card also offers the ability to earn more in different business-related categories (including travel), and it has a low annual fee too. [You can read more about it here]() (it's the first card listed). Third, in airport news, [TSA PreCheck just passed a record 20 million members](. If you have PreCheck already, you've probably noticed more people in line. Luckily, I haven't found a noticeable difference in wait times, and I think not having to take out your laptop/liquids (and being able to keep your shoes on) makes it worth holding. If you want to join the millions in the fast track lane through security, most premium credit cards include a statement credit that covers PreCheck or Global Entry (which is better to get as it includes PreCheck). [You can check out my favorites here](=). And, as always, if you need a new card be sure to check out the lists of all my other favorite cards (I update them regularly): - [My Favorite Travel Credit Cards]() - [The Best Hotel Travel Cards](=) - [The Best Airline Credit Cards]( - [The Best Premium Travel Cards](=) - [The Best No-Fee Credit Cards]( If you’re in Canada, [check out this website for new card offers](. For Brits, [click here for offers](=). For Aussies and Kiwis, [check out here](. If you have any questions on points and miles, ask away. Sincerely, Nomadic Matt P.S. - This newsletter is for U.S. points and miles info. If you're looking for regular travel tips, let me know and I'll change you to the correct list! [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | 2318 Santa Rosa Street, Austin, Texas 78702

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
