{NAME}, Hello from Switzerland! After a busy week in Germany, I'm here in Zurich for a few days to take in the scenic views. After that, well, I'm not quite sure where I'll be heading, so more on that next week! As for points and miles, there's lots of news to share: First, one of my favorite cards has just made a ton of changes. On the plus side, there's a new welcome offer and expanded dining credits (it's a great card for foodies). On the downside, the annual fee is a bit higher. Overall, though, the card still offers a ton of value and I think it's still worth getting if you don't already have it. [You can learn more about it in this post]() (it's the third card on the list). Second, another one of my favorite cards is offering extra perks on Virgin Voyages cruises (when you book before August 1, 2024 at 11:59pm PT). Perks include priority boarding, unlimited premium Wi-Fi, two specialty coffees per day, $100 bar tab credit, unlimited group workouts, and complimentary laundry. You must be a cardholder to take advantage of this offer. [Read more about the card here](! Third, in big airline news, Southwest is dropping their open-seating policy. After 50 years of open seating, [they will now be assigning seats](), which is what every other airline does. They've been struggling for a while, so maybe this will help turn things around. Lastly, two of my favorite hotel cards still have elevated offers. Both offers include free nights, and one includes five free nights! One of them is ending this week, so if you're looking to earn some free hotel stays, don't wait! [You can read about both cards here](=) (they're the first two cards listed). And, as always, if you need a new card be sure to check out the lists of all my other favorite cards (I update them regularly): - [My Favorite Travel Credit Cards]() - [The Best Hotel Travel Cards](=) - [The Best Airline Credit Cards]( - [The Best Premium Travel Cards](=) - [The Best No-Fee Credit Cards]( If you’re in Canada, [check out this website for new card offers](. Sincerely, Nomadic Matt P.S. - This newsletter is for U.S. points and miles info.
