= {NAME}, â Today, I just want to email you and send you an updated and current list of my favorite travel companies in case you have a trip coming up. â The companies are included here because they consistently find deals, offer world-class customer service and great value, and overall, are better than their competitors. I use them all during my travels. Airfare â[Skyscanner](=) - My favorite airfare booking site. I never book a flight without checking it because it searches websites around the world and in multiple languages so no deal goes unfound. This should be your starting point when researching and booking all your flights. â â[Going]() - Going.com (formerly Scottâs Cheap Flights) finds incredible flight deals and sends them directly to your inbox. If youâre flexible with your dates and destinations, you can score some amazing deals and save hundreds of dollars in the process! â
âAccommodation â â[Hostelworld]() - This is the best hostel site out there, with the largest inventory, best search interface, and widest availability. You can also search for dorm beds or private rooms. I use it for all my bookings. â â[Booking.com](=) - This is a great resource for cheap hotels and other accommodations. I like its easy-to-use interface. In all my research, they always have the best prices. â â[Trusted Housesitters](=) - For a unique (and free) way to travel, try house- or pet-sitting. In exchange for free accommodation, you simply need to look after someone's house and/or pet while they're away. It's a great option for long-term travelers and anyone on a budget. â â[Agoda]( - This website should be your primary accommodation website for guesthouses and hotels in Asia. It has the most robust inventory and offers the best rates. When I travel around Asia, I always book with Agoda.
â
âTravel Gear/Products/Services â â[SafetyWing](=) - SafetyWing offers convenient and affordable travel insurance plans tailored to digital nomads and budget travelers. They have cheap monthly plans, great customer service, and an easy-to-use claims process that makes it perfect for those on the road. â â[Insure My Trip]() - If you're 70 or over, I recommend Insure My Trip for your travel insurance needs. It is a wholesaler that helps you compare prices, so you get the policy thatâs best for you. (Canadians can get a quote [here]().) â â[World Nomads]( - World Nomads offers comprehensive plans for adventurous travelers who plan to do things like hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and even some extreme sports like rock climbing or bungy jumping. With 200 different activities covered, World Nomads is the best choice for active travelers. â â[Medjet]() - A Medjet membership is a good option for travelers who are going to be far from home and want added evacuation coverage. While standard travel insurance gets you to the "nearest acceptable facility" should you get injured, a Medjet membership can get you home. Itâs great for solo travelers and super affordable. â â[LifeStraw](=) - LifeStraw makes BPA-free reusable water bottles with a built-in filter so you can always ensure that your water is clean and safe. It filters 99.99% of bacteria, parasites, and microplastics â all while helping you reduce your reliance on single-use plastic. â â[REI Backpacks and Gear]( - This sporting and outdoor store sells a wide variety of backpacking gear. Their products last a long time. I've had the same REI backpack for years, and it's as good now as it was the day I bought it. (If you're Canadian, I love MEC!) [Here's more info on what to look for in the perfect backpack](. â â[Worldpackers]( - Worldpackers offers travelers a way to find volunteer experiences overseas. They can help you find work in hostels, homestays, experiences with NGOs, and eco-projects all over the world! It's very comprehensive. (Use code NOMADICMATT for $10 off.)

â
âTours â â[Intrepid Travel]() - Intrepid offers awesome small-group tours that use local operators and leave a small environmental footprint. If you go on a multi-day tour with anyone, go with Intrepid! â â[Talk Walks]( - This is my go-to walking tour company. It offers in-depth tours in a dozen destinations around the US and Europe, and the guides are always insightful and entertaining. If you want a tour that's more comprehensive than your average free walking tour, go with Walks. â â[EatWith]( - EatWith allows you to eat home-cooked meals with locals. Hosts set their own prices (so they can vary wildly), but this is a great way to do something different, pick a localâs brain, and maybe even make a new friend. â â[Get Your Guide](=) - Get Your Guide is a huge online marketplace for tours and excursions. The site has tons of tour options in cities all around the world, including cooking classes, walking tours, street art lessons, and more!
â
âTransportation â â[The Man in Seat 61](- This site is the ultimate guide to train travel anywhere in the world. It has the most comprehensive information on routes, times, prices, and train conditions. â â[Rome 2 Rio]( - This website helps you see how to get from point A to point B in the best and cheapest way possible. Just enter your departure and arrival points and it will give you all the bus, train, plane, and boat routes that can get you there, as well as how much they cost. It's one of the best transportation websites out there. â â[BlaBlaCar](=) - BlaBlaCar is a website that lets you share rides with vetted local drivers in exchange for a small fee. You simply request a seat, they approve it, and off you go! Itâs a cheap and much more interesting way to get from point A to point B than by bus or train! â â[Discover Cars](=) - Discover Cars is a car rental aggregator that can help you find the best deals for your next road trip. It pulls data from over 8,000 car rental locations to ensure you always find a great deal! *** Please email me if you have any questions or want to know if a company you found is any good. I'm here to help you travel better, so don't be shy! â Until next time! â Sincerely, â Nomadic Matt â =
