Find out what Saint Lucia's new CBI changes mean for you and explore your alternatives. [image]( Hi {NAME}, Saint Lucia has raised the donation amount for its Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with four other Caribbean nations. Saint Lucia is the last to join this MoA agreement, following Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada, Dominica, and Saint Kitts & Nevis, who signed in March. This new agreement will standardize and enhance the overall quality of the CBI programs, including several key measures: - Harmonized Pricing: All five countries will have similar pricing structures. - Unified Regulations: Standardized vetting and regulatory practices will be implemented. - Enhanced Vetting: Uniform and thorough vetting processes for all applicants. Additionally, Saint Lucia has proposed further measures to strengthen the MoA, including: - An annual quota on CBI approvals. - A minimum net worth requirement for applicants. - A requirement for escrow accounts to be held on the respective islands. - Barring unlicensed promoters from submitting applications through local authorized agents. - Requiring international promoters to submit separate due diligence reports for each applicant. These new measures, including the increased minimum donation amount, will take effect at the end of this month. If these changes affect your plans and you want to explore other citizenship by investment options, we’re here to help. Contact us to discuss the best alternatives tailored to your needs.
