{NAME}, thanks to MAGA extremists, half of our legislative branch is in complete dysfunction 6 Days {NAME}, thanks to MAGA extremists, half of our legislative branch is in complete dysfunction.  It has been 6 days since MAGA extremists took the unprecedented step of removing Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and we are still feeling the chaos. McCarthy's ouster by fellow Republicans was the result of his refusal to bend to the will of the most extreme wing of the party and their destructive agenda. A destructive agenda that includes government shutdowns, extreme abortion restrictions, and wasting taxpayer dollars on an unfounded Biden impeachment.  Now Republicans are looking for a replacement, and the options are not inspiring.  As the battle for the Speakership approaches, it's evident that MAGA Republicans are poised to intensify their extremism. How do we know this? Because all of the leading Republican candidates for Speaker -- Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan, and Kevin Hern -- are staunch MAGA extremists. Each of them supported the insurrection and the overturning of the 2020 election, they have advocated for extreme abortion restrictions, and they have relentlessly attacked Social Security and Medicare.  It's abundantly clear that every one of them is far too extreme to hold the position of Speaker. If these MAGA extremists have their way, an insurrectionist will be second in line to the presidency.  There is one clear alternative to the dysfunctional chaos that MAGA extremists are bringing to Washington. Democrats have been united working on issues that Americans care about. Rather than infighting, Democrats have passed legislation to support the working class, improve American infrastructure, and fight to protect a woman’s right to choose. [It is time to reject the chaos of the Republican Party and support Democrats who will get Washington back on the right track.
