Wade was leaked. And last night, we found out my GOP opponent is right-wing, anti-abortion extremist, JD Vance. Overturning Roe would be catastrophic for Ohio, where Republicans have introduced one extreme proposal after another to ban abortion before most women even know they're pregnant. Our work has never been more important than right now. A 50/50 Senate has failed to protect abortion for people across the country. From the minority, Republicans abused the filibuster to block the Women’s Health Protection Act that would have codified Roe. 50/50 is not enough. If we want to make an impact on the issues that really matter, we must expand our Democratic majority—and that means we must win this race.
