🇺🇸 AMERICA IS BACK! ... but for how long?

It is not Russia, led by a lunatic evil dictator. Nor is it cowardly China, who watches and provides zero aid or support to end this illegal war. No, it is the United States of America leading the fight for peace and freedom, and I am telling you as a soldier and veteran, I have never been more proud of our commander-in-chief than I am right now. The world is taking notice and following America’s lead – even countries that once strived for “neutrality” at any cost have stepped up to help us put an end Putin’s war on Ukraine. Make no mistake, that is only because of who our President is, and the impeccable cabinet he has surrounded himself with. I am lucky, I have friends from all over the world from my years in the military, and more recently, thanks to my role as national spokesman for No Dem Left Behind. These past couple of weeks, I have been inundated with messages from my friends – many of whom are former military or dignitaries that I’ve worked with in the past – and the sentiment is universal: "America is back!" Now, I want to take a minute to examine why people feel that way, but before we get started: Who remembers that moment when Trump addressed the UN a couple of years into his term, and claimed he was already the most successful and accomplished President in U.S. history? Without hesitation, the UN – a room filled with thousands of professional dignitaries from across the world – busted up laughing. They were laughing at Trump, but also at America, and at that moment, the shame I felt I could not be put into words. Fast forward to today, and the global embrace of President Biden we’re witnessing now is all I need to see to know that 81 million of us made the right choice. President Biden does not speak in an arrogant, foolish way like his predecessor did. He also tells the truth, while Trump was famous for telling thousands of lies – so many lies that it became a given in the eyes of the world that if he was speaking, he was lying. You see, folks, when a boastful, dishonest embarrassment like Trump is the leader of a country, no one can respect that person or the country they represent. The reason why it is so important for me to bring this up over and over again is that even though you might already know all of this, you and I need to start speaking up again to our friends and family who are not as politically engaged as we are. The corporate news is desperate for controversy to spark ratings, and some of them are – I hate to say this – desperate to have Trump and his toxic Twitter account back in the limelight, even at the expense of our country. Let me also say this: Often you can look at a political opponent and say, “I may have disagreed with them about most things, but at least they did this thing or that thing that was good.” In Trump's case, he did nothing – not one damned thing – for this country that I can speak positively about. We cannot and must not go back to those dark days, and it is time we start taking the Trump threat seriously again. Let's not forget one thing: Had not it been for the fact that that Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats were charge of the House back in 2020, President Biden would not be the one representing us in those NATO meetings right now – I believe with all my heart that McCarthy and the treasonous GOP would have illegally overturned the election and given Trump another term, if they had been in charge. That’s why we must take the midterms seriously and start putting in the resources we need, not just to keepour majority, but to flip more seats from red to blue. The future of democracy is on the line, and it’s up to us to fight for it.
