KBJ’s hearings proved it’s time for Dems to go on offense ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ {NAME}, Republicans have one rule: They don’t waste a single opportunity to score political brownie points with their base. It doesn’t matter what the issue or subject is, they will distort the facts to suit their narrative – the truth isn’t important to them as long as they can rile up their base. This week, we unfortunately got to see that unfold in real time during the Senate’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings for the incomparable Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Republicans falsely tried to paint Judge Jackson as “soft on crime,” specifically child pornography/child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Now, CSAM is one of those subjects that makes me – and I am sure you as well – sick to my stomach to even think about, and that is exactly why the Republicans kept hammering on it: To gin up false outrage with their QAnon-obsessed base, the ones who think Democrats are all baby-eating child molesters because they once read a post about it on “Truth” Social. Just to set the record straight: Judge Jackson locked CSAM offenders up at the same level and with similar sentences as other judges, including judges previously recommended and confirmed by Republicans like Josh Hawley. In the cases the Republicans used to try to smear her, she followed the sentencing recommendations of the prosecutors to the letter. To suggest anything otherwise is simply a lie, but you know that doesn't bother the Lindsey Grahams, Josh Hawleys, and Ted Cruzes of the world. Watching the hearings these past few days really fired me up – the way they disrespected this powerful and accomplished Black woman, full of grace and intellect, just so they could appease their base of illiterate buffoons, really irked me. I know I say this all the time, but we Democrats really need to knuckle up and start throwing punches – figuratively, of course. We need to call the GQP out on their crap, and we need to do it on their turf. Some of us are doing that, like our endorsed candidate Marcus Flowers who is showing up unapologetically to Marjorie “Trainwreck” Greene’s racist “America First” rallies and challenging her to debate him. Of course, she’s a coward and has her security escort Marcus out, but that just shows you they’re afraid of us, and they should be, because we have the truth on our side! We are fighting for change that will better the lives of ALL Americans, not just the top .01% and the corporations. If we Democrats can get our message out, then mark my words: WE CAN'T LOSE. It doesn't matter whether you're a Republican, Independent, Democrat, or have never voted a day in your life – you want your kids to have clean drinking water. You want your bridges, roads, and tunnels structurally sound. You want to be able to afford to go to the doctor, send your kids to college or trade school, and take care of your elderly parents, and still be able to pay your bills, put food on the table every night at dinner, and set something aside for the future. You don’t want to have to work 3 jobs to do it. These aren’t just Democratic values, they’re human values that Republicans oppose because it does not suit their corporate donors. (No matter what Mitt Romney says, corporations are not human.) The GQP has the big corporate money machine on their side, but we have something better – a message that appeals to everyday people. The good news is, there are way more regular, working-class people than corporate fat cats. The challenge is making sure they hear what we have to say and get to the polls to vote. {NAME}, you spare any amount today to help No Dem Left Behind reach rural and working-class Americans with our winning message?]( I truly believe that if we can get our message in front of the majority of voters, we’ll win. It's that simple. But grassroots organizing, media buys, and get-out-the-vote efforts cost a lot of money, and corporations and shady special interests have been flooding our opposition with campaign cash. Luckily, the numbers are on our side – there are way more of us than there are of them, so if we all pitch in what we can, we can beat them – a single $1 million dark-money contribution spends just the same as 100,000 $10 contributions. [If you believe in our message and want to maximize our reach this election year, consider making a monthly commitment – just $10 a month will make a huge difference in our ability to recruit and train volunteers, hire necessary staff, commit to ad buys, and support our fantastic candidates.]( You know we can't do any of this alone, so join the fight, and let’s reach America’s heartland for the win! Sappers clear the way, Airborne all the way! --Richard No Dem Left Behind is a federal PAC focused on building a base of support for progressive values in rural America.
