Presidential elections are different, everyone knows that, but with Trump they take on a whole new definition. [Rush My Support →]( Trump is the most polarizing figure in the history of American politics. That is by design, his path to success lies in making a splash. If you recall in 2016 the primary reason why he won, I believe, is he received billions of dollars in free advertising from the cable news establishment progressive and right wing alike.  Trump could not take two steps without it being broadcast live on tv. After all, cable news is in the business of making money and Trump was their money maker. This time around we are thankfully seeing much less of that, probably because America has grown fatigued by his extracurricular activities (which seem to consist of crime, primarily). How do we reach disengaged voters? For 2024, our challenge is going to be – how do we break past all the noise and get our message out directly to the voters who are either unconvinced or undecided?  Those folks are not like you and I. They don't look at the headlines every day, they are not listening to political podcasts, or following politics on Twitter and Facebook. Those folks are the ones who dictate elections and those are the ones we have to win over. So how do we do that?  We need to really make the case for why our side has the best interests of the American people at heart. For one – we really don't know what the MAGA GOP stands for. That is not hyperbole, they stand for Trump but what else?  Remember, they never release a budget, have no healthcare plan other than repeal Obama care, no plans for protecting medicare and social security, and continue to say the climate crisis is a hoax.  When it comes to women's health care reproductive rights and freedoms they want to take complete control over that too. The irony is the GOP then don't want to help new mothers take care of babies with things like early childhood care. The list goes on and on, but it’s easy to see that they don't stand for anything aside from power, and tax cuts for their richest of donors. High water in 2024 This fight, this election is going to be different, it's going to be harder. If the election were to take place right now and you saw the same numbers we see, they don't look good.  [A campaign is an opportunity to win over folks and bring them to our side. That is what we are working on. This time around we are going to be developing a lot more persuasive videos and collaborations to target voters across all demographics.
