"There's so much stigma and worry about the optics — and as a result, patients get suboptimal care for miscarriage."  This is a part of the fight for reproductive rights, including how and when people want or do not want to have children.  Aggressive anti-choice laws impact those who want to have children and have experienced pregnancy loss.
