{NAME}: Jim Jordan led this debacle, but MAGA has had their sights on America's institutions for years... Today's Spectacle...  Public Congressional hearings are supposed to be an opportunity for Americans to become better informed about what our elected leaders are doing and to make sure they are doing their jobs and that everyone is held accountable.  Today, that was not the case. Attorney General Merrick Garland testified in front of the MAGA GOP-led House Judiciary Committee and as you can imagine, FIREWORKS ensued.  At one point I felt as if I was watching a screaming competition as the chair of this committee, none other than Jim Jordan, yelled at the top of his lungs towards the witness (AG Garland)! Honestly, all of the yelling made it very difficult to pay attention to the words he was saying. It was almost watching my 3 and 4-year-old kids scream they want something and I have to beg them to calm down and tell me what they want...  Of course that is the point, it is by design. Jim Jordan has nothing of substance to say. The AG is doing his job, the Department of Justice is carrying out its duties: independent of any partisan politics, and yet, that doesn't seem to matter to the MAGA cult.  One MAGA GOP Congresswoman began to break down over the 'poor' January 6th traitors and how they have been unfairly prosecuted. Another MAGA GOP Congressman, the gun-yielding whacko Massie from Kentucky, got his 2 minutes of fame by accusing Merrick Garland of perjury while on the stand!  Folks, it was a clown show. We really learned nothing because the MAGA cult doesn't want, or doesn't care, that we, the citizens of this country stay informed about what is happening in our government. Just a reminder: it is our right to stay in the know, that's the whole point of PUBLIC hearings!  What can we take from this-first and foremost - we MUST take back the HOUSE! [Help Us TAKE BACK the HOUSE!]( The Challenge Ahead... I can't stress it enough: I speak with our Democrats in Congress and ask them what can we do to help them and they all say the same thing: "Hassan we need more support". Of course, they get it. We all get that folks are tired of giving only to watch the MAGA GOP become more emboldened with each passing day. We fight on, we do it methodically, and to the best of our capabilities with the finite resources that we have.  I am here to tell you, today, the resources we have are not enough for us to win or even be competitive in '24. Especially in rural America.  The dark money that is pouring in is overwhelming to say the least, but not insurmountable. A Real Solution: Now let's focus on the good news. Our policy at No Dem Left Behind is never to share with you bad news or a problem without a solution to combat it. We are ramping up our Take Back the House efforts, by getting back to our basics.  We are finding candidates who are on-the-ground leaders in their communities and getting behind them. We will be bringing back our very popular virtual town halls, and who knows maybe do a few in-person ones as well.  We are continuing to use our vast social media and digital platform to engage with supporters and cultivate them into door-knocking machines! We are getting out into the community and talking to folks one-on-one about issues and policies that matter to them. That's not all, we are working with our friends from other organizations and diving up the work to make sure that your efforts are not duplicated and no stone is left unturned.  [To do this we need you FIRSTNAME, no other way to spin it, if we don't get your help we just can't do our jobs. So can you help us today take back the House and put a muzzle on Jim Jordan?]( If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Chip in $24]( [Chip in $50]( [Chip in $75]( [Chip in $124]( [RUSH $250 !]( [Other Amount]( In Solidarity, Hassan 🏛️ Defend the Presidency 🏛️ No Dem Left Behind PAC 80M St. SE Suite 100 Washington D.C. 20003 Paid for by No Dem Left Behind PAC.
