what's in store for September School is back in Session - and so is Congress. {NAME}, congratulations to all parents who have made it through yet another summer. School is back, and across the country, parents are rejoicing, including this parent. This week is a big one for us at No Dem Left Behind, and I wanted to share some tidbits with you as to why. The most pressing issue is that the Senate is inching closer and closer to the debt ceiling deadline, and we are unclear on both Senator McConnel's and Speaker McCarthy's intentions. Senator McConnel's health continues to be an issue, and according to reporting by Politico, Republican leadership was kept in the dark, and they are increasingly frustrated by the lack of transparency coming from McConnel's camp. Making sure that our nation's bills get paid must be Congress' top priority right now, which is not the case on the Republican side of the aisle. The Republican Plan Instead, the House MAGA GOP is laser-focused on Hunter Biden and impeaching President Biden. Speaker McCarthy has promised his far-right handlers that impeachment hearings will come as soon as the end of this month. We must point out that there is ZERO justification or evidence to impeach the President, but of course, that is not something that Rep. Greene, Gaetz, Gosar, and company care about. There is also reporting that it is Trump making these demands to his close allies in the House, and in turn, they are relaying the message and applying pressure on McCarthy to follow through on impeachment hearings. How Democrats are Helping the American People In juxtaposition, here is what the Democrats and President Biden are working on for the American people: 1.) August jobs numbers are in, and 187,000 jobs were added to the economy, adding to the record-breaking 13.5 million new jobs since President Biden took office. 2.) Unemployment is below 4% for another record-breaking 19 months in a row. We know that simply "getting people to work" is not enough. We also need to ensure that those jobs pay a living wage and are in all sectors of the economy and every region of the country. Over 1.5 million jobs have been created in the manufacturing sector, construction, and engineering since President Biden took office. 3.) There is evidence to show that wages are rising across the nation while inflation continues to drop compared to what we were facing earlier in the year and last summer. Folks, those numbers and facts are not an accident; they are a direct result of the Inflation Reduction Act that the President and the Democrats passed in August of 2022. The new jobs are a direct result of the Infrastructure Bill from November of 2021. These pieces of legislation have a tangible impact on the lives of all Americans, and the goal on our side of the aisle is to help better the lives of all Americans, not just the ones at the very top of the economic scale. We have our work cut for us, we are not taking anything for granted, and we know the MAGA GOP has coffers stuffed with dark money ready to spread lies and propaganda about Democrats and the President. That is where we come in and do our best to counter that message and to share with rural Americans the truth about the work that Democrats are doing.  [{NAME}]([, the MAGA GOP's messaging will try to cover up the wins of the Biden adminstration and the Democrats' achieved progress for Americans.](Help us fight back by chipping in today. If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Chip in $24]( [Chip in $50]( [Chip in $75]( [Chip in $124]( [RUSH $250 !]( [Other Amount]( In Solidairty,  Hassan Martini Exectutive Director No Dem Left Behind No Dem Left Behind PAC 80M St. SE Suite 100 Washington D.C. 20003 Paid for by No Dem Left Behind PAC.
