We only got by because of the support offered by our friends and neighbors â people who were often no better off than we were. The idea of not just us, but everyone in our community having to pay 30% more on nearly everything they buy, while corporate executives and Wall Street bankers get a tax cut⦠Thereâs no better word for it than theft.
