On Christmas Eve, several busloads of migrants were dropped off outside the home of the Vice President again. Greg Abbott is the alleged governor responsible, having sent a letter to the Biden Administration on December 20th blaming the president for the crisis at the border. In below-freezing temperatures, men, women, and children were thrown out onto the sidewalks of Washington D.C.
Thankfully, an organization known as Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network took up the groundwork to make sure that these migrants were taken into shelters and kept warm and clothed.
The horrific and inhumane nature of the GOP continues to escalate year after year. The party of âChristian valuesâ has really shown their inability to understand the teachings of their religion. And while these people were thankfully helped along their journey by wonderful volunteers and organization members, the truth is that this move was a political stunt. ONCE AGAIN, Republican governors are using human beings like cheap pawns in a move for more extremist and radical right support. Youâll notice that these Republican governors and their supporters in the House and Senate never seem to truly suggest fixes for the immigration system, but instead, they use peopleâs lives as part of a power move. {NAME} â I know you despise the vile behavior of those like Greg Abbott.
