and the Republican party is falling in line behind him once again. [continue reading] {NAME}, disgraced former president, and forever liar, Donald Trump has somehow escalated his rhetoric and is now arguing that Constitution should be terminated so that he can be president again. "A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution," Trump argued in a post on Truth Social. [destroy]( Trump knows he is lying. He lost the election fair and square. If there were any real evidence, he would have brought them to the many courts that his administration packed with MAGA loyalist judges. His baseless claims never succeeded in court, so now he throws his weight violently around in hopes of winning in the court of public opinion and destroying our country. Trump would rather burn this country to the ground than to admit that the people rejected his hateful and chaotic administration. Republicans are struggling to condemn Trump’s rhetoric, even in light of their recent midterm losses and Trump’s recent dinner with antisemites Kanye and Nick Fuentes. This Sunday, Republican Ohio Rep. Dave Joyce said that Trump’s desire to terminate the constitution would not prevent him from supporting Trump if he became the GOP’s presidential nominee in 2024. Joyce is the chair of the House’s Republican Governance Group, an allegedly centrist group. The Republican Party is not learning its lesson and is now backing Trump as he blatantly speaks of overturning the Constitution. Our midterm successes should give us confidence that we can repel Trump in a 2024 run, but we can’t let that confidence make us complacent. Trump and his loyalists are now explicitly allowing talk of destroying the very foundation of our country. We cannot afford to find out what happens if Trump becomes president again now that he explicitly says he wants to overturn our Constitution. It’s clear we have to fight harder than ever. That starts with this Tuesday’s special election in Georgia and continues immediately as we start building the momentum needed to defend the Presidency from Trump, win back the House and expand our Senate majority in 2024. The 2024 elections may seem far away, but we know the enemies of our Constitution are already plotting. These efforts will take many hours of labor. The more support we have, the more we can do.
