[continue reading]( {NAME}, It's time for another Around the World! Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, a man I have a tremendous amount of respect for, spoke this week with his counterpart in Moscow, and this is what we learned, Russia is not backing down. They assumed no responsibility for the targeting of civilians, they did not back down on their threats of using nuclear weapons. Russia wants to see the Ukrainian democratically-elected government be replaced by Russian puppets, and the icing on the cake - they want to illegally annex even more parts of Ukraine.  [villains]( (click to watch the video or scroll to keep reading!) I don't know how Secretary Austin was able to keep his composure on such a ludicrous and deranged set of demands but there's a reason he is the Secretary of Defense and I am not. That is all, unfortunately, to be expected though. What is not to be expected is what is coming out of the United States on the Subject of the Ukrainian/Russian war: A war that was unilaterally started by Putin and Russia, I just have to make sure I add that in there. In the US Republicans and billionaires have decided to publicly defend Putin and Russia and call out president Zelensky, Ukraine, and even our Commander and chief President Biden: Let's start with Billionaire and tax-cheat Elon Musk who is charging the Ukraninans millions of dollars for his Starlink technology while pretending to be a philanthropist and "donating it." He has gone as far as to threaten to cut off the internet from the Ukrainians because someone called him a mean name. Folks, this is why Billionaires are no good for society. No one man should have that much power, and if I were President I would invoke the Defense of Production Act. Ukraine's ability to relay information to the outside world is a matter of National security and Elon Musk even mentioning the idea of restricting that information, in my eyes, warrants executive action. I am sick and tired of billionaires and the elites playing god with people's lives, and I know I am not alone. Elon Musk is not alone in siding with Russia, I have seen plenty of billionaires take to Twitter and reiterate Russian propaganda talking points. These people claim to be American citizens, we should send them all packing to Moscow since that is who they are showing allegiance towards. While we are at it we should send Kevin McCarthy and other members of the MAGA GOP who are also threatening to cut off Ukraine aid if they take over power. Let me remind everyone of one thing- If Russia stops fighting the war is over, if Ukraine stops fighting and defending herself Ukraine is over. You see the difference?  This was a busy week in foreign affairs- Not-so-good news coming out of the UK and their everlasting merry-go-round of alt-right-wing Prime Ministers. If you have any sympathy at all for outgoing PM Liz Truss, don't. She is Amy Coney Barret, Nikki Haley, and Sarah Palin all mixed into one. So she is not as dumb as Palin, but then again not that many people are. On a serious note the UK has been floundering more and more to conservative ideologies and hateful rhetoric, and the further right they go the more their economy and standard of living plummets. This hopefully will serve as a wake-up call to our friends from across the pond that they need to embrace Democratic policies and populist agenda and refrain from conservative backward-thinking policies that have not worked and continue to hurt them. This all started with the troll and wannabe Donald Trump-Boris Johnson and Brexit, and now the UK has inflation nearly double what we have by the way and it's only getting worse.  Folks, we have less than a few weeks to go, and I wanted to share with you what is on the line not just here at home but across the globe if we allow the MAGA GOP to take over Congress. Now is not the time to take chances with our Democracy on the line, chip in what you can and let's make sure we win in November. [Chip in $25]( [Chip in $50]( [Chip in $100]( [Chip in Other Amount]( Sappers clear the way!
