Republicans are hammering our candidates with brutal attacks and we must fight back. [continue reading] {NAME}, Whenever we hit the “send” button on an email, we know that the same people that receive emails from us also receive dozens of emails daily from other organizations and candidates who are all doing fantastic work with limited resources. That’s why we try really hard not to send scary emails saying things like “It’s over for us if you don't contribute RIGHT NOW!” – because we're committed to moving forward with this work, whatever it takes, even when times are so tough that we can barely keep the lights on. That said, sometimes the numbers are just below the mark and we've got to find a way to make up the ground. With just 2-1/2 days to go before our end-of-month deadline, we need to raise a minimum of $12,989 to avoid having to make some tough decisions on where to make cuts to our final mid-term efforts. [deadline]( [(CLICK HERE TO HELP US MEET OUR GOAL)]( We don’t come up with these funding targets out of thin air – they’re a reflection of the minimum cash we know we need on hand to be able to commit resources to things like grassroots organizing, volunteer training, digital media campaigns, and campaign support for our endorsed candidates. The truth is that we NEED a minimum level of resources to do this work. Organizers, volunteer recruitment and training, ad buys, even these fundraising emails – none of it is free, it all costs money. Our overhead is as low as we can possibly make it – you can count our entire staff on one hand, and we all wear more than one hat, working long hours for salaries well below industry standard. We don’t say this to complain! We CHOOSE to be here because we believe so strongly in the importance of this work! We say it to point out that even though we all sacrifice to make sure as much of the funding we raise goes straight to the mission as possible, there are some months where the financing lags behind the innovative and ambitious plans we have. Supporters like you have already been so generous. You’ve helped us grow to the point where we’re supporting some of the top races in the country! But we simply can’t do it without your continued support, because it’s important to us that an endorsement from No Dem Left Behind MEAN something – that we can put our money where our mouth is and offer our candidates meaningful assistance. The fact is, Republicans are hammering our candidates with brutal attacks, and we don’t have enough money to help them fight back. We need your help so we can bring our A-game to this year’s midterms and help our rural and working-class candidates flip more House and Senate seats in America’s Heartland from RED to BLUE! [Join the Fight!]( We’ll be honest: We don’t want to make ANY cuts to our election-year efforts, especially in the thick of the midterms, when so much is at stake! But if we can’t raise the funds we need to support our mission, we’re going to have to make some tough choices soon. [So please, chip in what you can today to help make sure we can keep leading the fight to flip America’s Heartland blue and expand our House and Senate majorities.]( [Chip in $10]( [Chip in $25]( [Chip in $25/mo.]( [Chip in Other Amount]( Thanks for everything you do to support this important work. We can’t do any of it without you. --The No Dem Left Behind team [thank you] Paid for by No Dem Left Behind PAC.
