This gathering brings together leaders from 32 NATO Allies, including newest member states, Sweden and Finland. Central to the summit's agenda is the reaffirmation of NATO's steadfast support for Ukraine during ongoing Russian aggression. President Biden emphasizes the Alliance's commitment to collective defense highlighting NATO's role in enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities through initiatives like the deployment of a NATO Senior Representative in Kyiv . With 23 Allies now meeting or exceeding the two percent GDP defense spending commitment, NATO's defense industrial base is being strengthened to ensure readiness and resilience to diverse threats across air, land, sea, cyber, and space. A $10 billion commitment to arms production by NATO for defense and industrial cooperation among Allies.
