No Dem Left Behind is committed to a green future. This needs to be the message from all politicians as we tackle the threat of climate change.͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ Earth Day 2024: Green is the Future Happy Earth Day! This Earth Day, No Dems wants to take time to spread an important message: America needs a green future, and that includes rural America. As we celebrate Earth Day, it's a time to reflect on our collective responsibility to protect our planet for future generations. At the heart of this responsibility lies a commitment to addressing one of the greatest challenges of our time: climate change.  No Dem Left Behind firmly believes that climate change poses a real and urgent threat to our economy, national security, and the health and futures of our children. We are dedicated to leading the charge in curbing its effects, protecting America's natural resources, and ensuring the quality of our air, water, and land.  Under the leadership of President Obama, significant strides were made in combating climate change and safeguarding our environment. Meaningful increases in fuel economy standards for cars and light trucks were introduced, alongside steps to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from coal-fired power plants — the largest concentrated source of emissions in the United States.  However, the progress we made is under threat. With Donald Trump at the helm, the United States withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement, isolating us as the only major nation in the world not committed to this crucial accord. His dismissal of climate change as "a hoax invented by the Chinese" puts our nation's health, security, and economy in jeopardy.  Democrats are steadfast in our commitment to protect and build on President Obama's progress. We recognize that addressing climate change presents an opportunity to make America the world's clean energy superpower, creating millions of good-paying jobs in the process. We will continue to fight for policies that safeguard our planet and ensure a sustainable future for all.  As we navigate the challenges ahead, it will take a collective effort involving workers, entrepreneurs, scientists, citizens, and both the public and private sectors to address climate change and embrace our clean-energy future.  On this Earth Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to environmental protection and redouble our efforts to preserve the beauty and vitality of our planet for generations to come.  Join us in this vital cause.  [Please consider making a generous donation to No Dem Left Behind today.
