Cruz and Company Hurt Immigration

The conspiracy theories. The lack of accountability. These are all trademarks of MAGA's approach to the border. Ted Cruz and company are fighting to keep it our reality. Ted Cruz and other MAGA Republicans are belittling and dehumanizing immigrants coming to the southern border. This has been the MAGA strategy for years, using xenophobia and isolationism to enrage their base. All of this happens as Republicans actively do nothing at every level of government to solve the border crisis.  Cruz and company have been framing the border crisis as a conspiracy orchestrated by Democrats to manipulate elections in their favor. These cynical lies stem from the idea that these new immigrants will vote blue instead of red in upcoming elections. Not only does the data not back these claims up; these lies have a deeper motivation to vilifying both immigrants and liberals who want to handle the immigration crisis in a humane way.  MAGA is misrepresenting the truth, and the truth is that Democrats want to address the immigration crisis with a humane approach, prioritizing the well-being of individuals. Instead of helping us in this noble fight for our fellow humans, Republicans want to cook up cynical conspiracy theories to misdirect the public,.  The situation in South America is dire, prompting many to seek refuge in the United States. Both international and American laws emphasize the importance of granting asylum seekers a fair chance in the United States. We all have a collective desire to speed up the asylum process, but Republicans repeatedly stand in the way, hindering progress by voicing pointless complaints and impeding efforts for progress.  If we want to address this problem with the humility it needs, we need to WIN BIG in 2024. This is our opportunity to become the land of opportunity once again.
