It is an opportunity to reflect on rights that we often take for granted, and the sacrifice required to keep those rights intact. Moreover, it is a moment to honor those who gave their lives making the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free. As a Representative, I’m proud to use my office to increase the resources available for our veterans, because those who have sacrificed so much for us deserve the very best our country has to offer. When our veterans return home, they shouldn’t have to worry about affording housing costs, healthcare, or their next meal. I’ll continue working to make sure that our veterans have the resources and care they need after they’ve served.
