Let's Publish 1 Million Words of AI Content for Google

I don't know what's gotten into me, but I've decided I need to try out this whole artificial intelligence thing. Will content written by AI tools be garbage? Or will it be surprisingly readable and rank in Google? Over the past couple of weeks, I've been mulling over some ideas and today I'd like to make it official! I'm going to publish 1,000,000 words of AI content, see if it ranks in Google, and share all the results with you. Here's what I've done so far: - I've picked a niche and bought a domain! - I used [Odys Global](=) to find an aged domain with great links in my niche. - I've started researching keywords. - I've placed a test order with an AI content service to see the type of content I get for various keywords. - I'm going to do more keyword research over the next week or two, then I'll start publishing shortly after that! I'll share the AI content service I'm using on Monday. I have a couple sample articles I'll share with you then, and perhaps they will have finished my test order. Overall, I'm excited to start this new little side project and I think it will be fun to share the results with you. A couple of quick caveats about this experiment. I'm most certainly not advocating or suggesting that you go out and start using AI generated content on your sites. I'm simply doing this for fun and to see if it actually works. Part of me hopes it fails. That would mean Google is ahead of AI tools and all the money I invest in human writers is worth it! However, the other part of me suspects that some of the content will indeed rank...but who knows for how long. The site's traffic is up from last year and has spikes in activity around Christmas, Boxing Day and Cyber Monday. Just over 2 years old, this site ranks for some good buyer intent keywords. Plus, the site’s average time on page is over 7 minutes and has 94% of the traffic coming organically through Google.
