Sunday's resumption of one of the NFL's more interesting rivalries (4:25 p.m.-Cincinnati's Local 12) at Levi's Stadium is already intriguing even before it kicks off. Both teams have been to their last two conference title games and as Taylor revealed during his Wednesday news conference, he held up head coach Kyle Shanahan's 49ers as an example for his team as early as 2020. [READ MORE]( [Top Headlines]( [Save The Dey]( SAVE THE DEY ADDS 500 LIFESAVERS TO THE CHAIN OF SURVIVAL IN CINCINNATI The Cincinnati Bengals welcomed fans to learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR with the American Heart Association, Cintas and Kettering Health. Bengals Save The Dey presented by Cintas, held Oct. 24 in Paycor Stadium, trained 500 participants to act with confidence and capability in the event of a cardiac emergency at home, work or in the community. With more than 350,000 sudden cardiac arrest emergencies happening outside of the hospital each year, CPR, if performed immediately, could double, or triple a victim's chance of survival. EYES RETURN THIS WEEK Bengals Pro Bowl left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. doesn't miss games. He's only missed one during his six NFL seasons and with big-money sacker Nick Bosa and prototype left tackle Trent Williams looming in San Francisco Sunday (4:25-Cincinnati's Local 12), he says he won't miss that one, either. Brown didn't practice Monday when head coach Zac Tayor welcomed the Bengals back from the bye with a brisk one-hour workout on the Paycor Stadium field, but Brown said he'll be ready by the Bay. "I do (plan to play). I feel great with an extra week of rest," said Brown, who reaggravated a groin injury last week on the fifth play against Seattle and gutted it out for 32 more snaps before going to the bench late in the third quarter. "This is just an extra day of rest for me." She got her doctorate in pharmacy in May and she'll have a little bit of free time towards the end of the week. We'll have a day or two to kind of relax. [READ MORE]( [Sam Hubbard]( CINCY KID ABOUT TO CATCH BENGALS ICON Sam Hubbard's next sack ties him with two-time Pro Bowl nose tackle Tim Krumrie for 10th place on the Bengals all-time list with 34.5 career sacks. It's still a remarkable number for history's most prolific tackling nose tackle, and it's also a number Trey Hendrickson might reach this season, too, since he goes into the break leading all NFL defensive ends with seven sacks. That's one off the league lead set by outside backers Danielle Hunter of Minnesota and T. J. Watt of Pittsburgh. "(Hendrickson is) always in the backfield," says defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo. "He's always in the quarterback's lap." In just 37 games for the Bengals, Hendrickson is already 15th on the list with 29 sacks, two more than Coy Bacon and three fewer than Gary Burley. [READ MORE]( [Girls Flag Football]( GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL FLAG FOOTBALL The Bengals are investing to bring football to more women, especially high school female student-athletes, through the fast-growing and fun sport of flag football. Six local high schools participated in the first-annual Jamboree at Paycor Stadium on Sept. 30. These six schools will hold Cincinnati's first girls high school flag football season in Spring 2024. Thanks to support from the Bengals, USA Football and Nike, each school was provided the equipment and uniforms to kick off their pilot season. Flag Football is coming to the 2028 Olympic summer games in Los Angeles!
