[View online]() //WEEKLY ☰ ⊗ [News](=) [Reviews]( [Best Lists]( [Videos]() [Community]() Dear {NAME}, Recently, I wrote an article about [microplastic waste in water](). During my research, I came across Apple’s 113-page 2023 environmental report. At first, I was overwhelmed by the amount of data and visualizations. But as I delved deeper into the bar charts and other graphics, my admiration grew. I then shared my initial impressions with one of my colleagues, Rubens Eishima. He jokingly remarked, "Well, if I wanted to impress people, I'd add 300 thousand pages to an environmental report!" That joke gave me pause for thought. Today, another team member has raised the question about what Apple didn't tell us during their presentation on environmental actions at the iPhone 15 series launch event. By the way, that presentation was what I'd describe as storytelling taken to the exponential level. So, is Apple genuinely a role model for eco-friendliness? I have my own opinion on that, but today I want to share my colleague Carsten Drees's viewpoint. Wishing you an excellent day ahead. ¢Â€Â‹ Camila Rinaldi Head of Editorial --------------------------------------------------------------- //The Bottom Line = Is Apple Really a Role Model for Eco-friendliness?
