[View online]() //WEEKLY ☰ ⊗ [News](=) [Reviews]( [Best Lists]( [Videos]() [Community]() Dear {NAME}, I can't shake the feeling that we're stuck in a loop lately. Every Tech Summit kicks off with great expectations, only to end in some level of disappointment. The worst part? It's hard to pinpoint whether the main issue is a lack of innovation, or if we're simply awash in a sea of monotony that has always been there—we just never noticed. It seems nothing is truly new anymore. Or worse, what is "new" quickly becomes obsolete. One truth stands out: We need to seriously reevaluate Tech Summits, perhaps even more than the products they showcase. The current format of events like IFA has been casting a shadow on genuinely promising developments for some time now. This is what we'll be exploring in our editorial this week: the cringe-worthy trends and increasingly expensive products presented at IFA 2023. One more thought to consider: Who are Tech Summits really for these days? Hopefully, this newsletter will inspire more creativity than it will melancholy. Wishing you an excellent day ahead. ¢Â€Â‹ Camila Rinaldi Head of Editorial --------------------------------------------------------------- //The Bottom Line Too bad: The IFA 2023 was too much and for too few IFA 2023 was different from my previous consumer electronics show experience but not necessarily worse.
