My colleagues Antoine Engels and Carsten Drees threw their arguments in twin opinion articles discussing the merits of fast charging on today's smartphones. How much is too much? Is 45 Watts worthy of being called "fast charging"? What about component lifetime concerns? I will leave to my colleagues to present their arguments, which I recommend trying to read swapping between both point of views.
