Good morning {NAME}, June is a really exciting month for me. Firstly because it is the beginning of summer, secondly because it is a month of great expectation in the tech world. While [iOS 16]( and [Android 13](=) are in full development, expectations about the next phone releases start to rise. If on the one hand Samsung opens the year presenting the new generation of the Galaxy S series, in the second half of the year all eyes are on Apple. Recently I had to trade in my iPhone 13 Pro Max and a question mark arose: should I invest in the same model or wait for the iPhone 14 Pro series? About three months before the launch of the new iPhones, I of course decided to wait and put my SIM card in an iPhone 11 Pro Max that was lying around my place. However, if I was using a Galaxy S22 Ultra I would certainly invest in the same model if I had to change phones, as it would be months of waiting until the new version of the device hits the market. Two great brands, two great strategies! While in the US Apple accounts for 57.43% of the market share, Samsung has 28.08%, almost half the Cupertino giant's participation ([Statcounter, May 2022](). Together, the two companies are the biggest players in the mobile scene in the country. But what makes the two companies so similar and at the same time so different? How do both dominate the market? How does one of them account for twice the share of the other? We believe that the answers to these questions are tied to the differences between the Galaxy and iPhone series. Therefore, the highlight of this week's newsletter is a comparison between the Samsung Galaxy lineup and Apple's iPhones! Enjoy the read! ¢Â€Â‹ Camila Rinaldi Head of Editorial at NextPit.com --------------------------------------------------------------- Samsung or iPhone? = [Which smartphone should you choose in 2022?](=)  [Apple versus Samsung - who makes the best smartphones?
