The Nexmo Node-RED package is available now!

View in browser "None of us is as smart as all of us." –Ken Blanchard We're always striving to make our APIs easy to understand and use, but we're a CPaaS company, there will still be a certain level of assumed knowledge required to use our products. We do our best to minimise this, and where there is a knowledge requirement we try to bridge the gap with detailed documentation, something [we're pretty good at](, but Nexmo is still an API company, you're going to have to write some code to use our products, that is until now. This month's featured blog post introduces Nexmo Node-RED, an extension for Node-RED, a flow-based development tool for visual programming. Now you can interact with Nexmo's APIs in a visual way, no code required. This extension enables programmers and non-programmers alike to quickly prototype applications using the Nexmo APIs. Nexmo Node-RED lowers the barrier to entry and has exciting opportunities for Hackathons. By making it easier for non-programmers to participate, we become more inclusive; attracting a wider range, and more diverse ideas from people with a different mindset than you find at traditional hackathons.
