Basically, it’s a space-themed coffee shop with all-day breakfast and snack options. The new spin-off restaurant quietly opened in the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook for some customers last Thursday, and officially launched on Friday, to be met with overflowing drive-thru lines and even people flying in from outside the country. Across social media, but particularly on TikTok, the restaurant has earned serious attention, not only from those who have had the luxury of trying it out but also from several mainstream news publishers. One of the most engaged TikTok posts was from a girl who traveled from London to get her hands on the new menu items, which range from different coffees to other flavored beverages called Galactic Boosts. The creator’s video has received 707k engagements, and has been viewed over 6.5 million times.
