[View this email in your browser]( [NewsWhip]( The anatomy of a social media comment Hi there, Well, no one ever promised us that 2018 would be boring. As humans, we become fairly used to routines. We like routine. Data, user behaviors, and the social media platforms promise us anything but a routine. We’re all still trying to make sense of the new ecosystem of content this year. Facebook's continuing [changes]( Snapchat [redesigns]( Google AMP [growth]( it’s hard to keep up. Luckily, the proof is in the numbers. For a look at what drives comments vs. likes, [read the blog here](. And for which are the winning post types on Facebook in 2018, [you can catch up here.]( Industry Report: How Super Bowl brands performed on social media [Read more >]( How ESPN Deportes uses social data to create unique content [Read more >]( How Instagram will be impacted by the Facebook algorithm shift [Read more >]( Noted - Snapchat is giving its influencers [data insights]( into their content. Oh, to be a fly on their wall - That said, more publishers and even Google are adopting a [Snapchat-like strategy](. Imitation, flattery, you know the saying - “How I cracked [Facebook’s algorithm]( and tortured my friends”. Quite a headline from BuzzFeed - Facebook is introducing “[Lists]( as a post type, to encourage more personal sharing - And [Google traffic]( for publishers is um, pretty great right now.
